..................Looking Forward.........

OK, so the most exciting thing is to have something really big to look forward to. This coming up week is just that thing. I will be traveling with Liz to Idaho to see Jackie, Adam, Sam and Derek. We will get to attend Sam's graduation recital. She has worked five years, w/a few bumps, but we are all so proud of her. I am so excited to hear her sing again.

I am also proud of Jackie. She does a good job taking care of her man and there home. I am looking forward to seeing her new place all decked out. I know she can't wait till school start back for her.

I can't wait to see my girls. That means you too, Leigh-Ann. We are going to have so much fun.

We are having a lazy Saturday. Not much planned. The past week we have worked on painting the ceiling of the deck and staining the rest of it. It looks brand new. The next project is staining the fence. We know it is going to be a big job but can't wait till we see the finished project. the rain has to stop soon.

Work is getting crazy! The end of the year is coming and there are a lot of changes going on. Cuts, cuts and more cuts. I am afraid for all of those people that are being threatened of loosing their jobs next year. So far we have just had some days cut but I am afraid it is going to get worse.

I have a new calling at church. I am officially an old maid. I am the librarian. It is a fun calling but I have a lot to learn. I got the calling about a month ago and so far so good. At least I know how to run the copy machine. lol

My grandbaby is getting so big. She is learing new words everyday. We just had Easter(s) pictures made with a live bunny. That was so much fun. We are looking forward to getting our pictures.

Well tata for now.

Saturday Sit In's

So it is Saturday afternoon as I sit and watch my grandaughter. Kids are so funny. As parents we watch everything our kids do and really see very little. As grandparents we think we see it all. We laugh at everything they do and think our's are the smartest of all others. Kids really do learn new things every day all day.

I love being a mother, but I love being a grandmother too. I can'y wait till my girls have babies of their own. I know they will some day, and their life will really begin then:)

So here's to lazy Saturdays......Enjoy them all.
